Directions from New Brunswick
Directions from Halifax, Nova Scotia (12-14 hours, 1,200 km)
Start in Halifax, Nova Scotia: Head west on Highway 102 toward Truro.
Truro to Amherst: From Truro, continue onto Highway 104, which eventually becomes the Trans-Canada Highway, leading you toward the Nova Scotia/New Brunswick border near Amherst.
Enter New Brunswick: Cross the border into New Brunswick and continue on the Trans-Canada Highway (now Highway 2 in New Brunswick).
Moncton: You'll pass through or near the city of Moncton. Keep following the Trans-Canada Highway.
Fredericton: Continue past Fredericton, staying on the Trans-Canada Highway.
Enter Quebec: Cross the border into the province of Quebec. The Trans-Canada Highway becomes Autoroute 20.
Quebec City: You have the option to bypass Quebec City by taking Autoroute 73 South and then rejoining Autoroute 20, or you can stay on Autoroute 20 as it passes through the city.
Continue on Autoroute 20: This will take you along the south shore of the St. Lawrence River.
Montreal: As you approach Montreal, Autoroute 20 will become Autoroute 720/Route 136 as you cross the St. Lawrence River via the Samuel De Champlain Bridge.
Westmount: To get to Westmount, exit Autoroute 720 onto Boulevard Robert-Bourassa. Turn right onto Rue Saint-Antoine Ouest, and then take the exit for Rue Atwater. Continue onto Avenue Atwater, which leads you into Westmount.
